I have heard so many people talking about this book and after seeing it repeatedly recommended on book TikTok, I decided I would pick up My Sister, The Serial Killer and give it a read. This book is a very odd and disturbing, interweaving a lot of dark humour throughout the plot of the book. The story unfolds, telling the story of two sisters; one who is very beautiful and alluring and one who is simply, not. However all is not as it seems as the partners of the beautiful sister all end up mysteriously dead, leading the other sister to suspect foul play on her sister's part. I definitely feel that this book is an acquired taste but sadly I do not think it is for me. I cannot doubt the story telling or style of writing but in my opinion, My Sister, The Serial Killer, falls into a very niche genre you either love or hate but no in between. I would struggle to recommend this book in particular but I am excited to read more of the author's work in the future and I absolutely love the cover of this book!
