Korede the older, sensible sister who will do anything to protect her younger, sister, Ayoola, including cleaning up for her after she has killed her latest boyfriend. Ayoola is beautiful and men can't seem to say no to her, what they don't realise is that she is a sociopath.

When Ayoola starts dating, Tade, a doctor at the hospital where Korede is a nurse, Korede is conflicted, she still wants to protect her sister, but she doesn't want Ayoola to harm Tade.

This book is not at all what I expected, it was less about murder and more about the bond between two sisters and the Nigerian culture.

The book is a fast-paced, easy read and while I do like short chapters, some were perhaps a tad too short! That said I did enjoy it, the characters were complex and the story captivating. I would have liked a bit more of a back story on the sisters - there was so much left unanswered.
When the book came to an end, it left me wanting more.

It was a great first novel for Oyinkan Braithwaite and I can't wait to see what she does next.
