I finally had a chance to read this book, after having it on my to-read list for quite awhile. I enjoyed the contrast between the two sisters, Korede and Ayoola. It shows how abuse can have different effects on different people, and the dynamic between two sisters when one is constantly shown favouritism. It was thrilling to read along and find out what would happen to Tade, and I really felt for Korede when she tried to warn him about her sister's proclivities, and he didn't believe her. The side story with the comatose patient, Mutah (I think that's how his name was spelt, I don't have the book in front of me to double check) was really sweet. All in all, it was a quick, fun read that can easily be read in one sitting. Four stars.
