Really puts you on edge!

This novel follows the story of Korede and her sister Ayoola- a serial killer of past boyfriends. Korede's loyalty is proved unbounded as she helps cover each one up, but when Ayoola starts a relationship with a colleague of Korede's, who she has secretly been in love with, she is conflicted.
I was conflicted before Korede was. Ayoola is presented as someone who always gets her own way, and Korede is presented as someone who clearly has a duty to uphold. I was left on tenterhooks throughout the whole book as it is built up layer by layer, but then comes crashing down at the end.
I wasn't the biggest fan of the ending, but I enjoyed the book as a whole. Neither sister is perfect, but it was easy for me to be frustrated at Korede for being an enabler. However it really goes to show that blood is thicker than water, and the lengths people go to, to protect their family...
