Gosh, this may be a short book (223 pages) but it sure packs in a whole lot of storyline.
When Korede receives a call from her younger sister asking for help because she's killed her boyfriend you'd expect her to be shocked and surprised. Not so much though, since this is the third time it's happened.
After the inevitable clear up she's back at work as a nurse but horrified when her sister eyes up the object of her affections, Dr Tade.
So how do you go about keeping a friend safe whilst not betraying your sister?
A tricky balance since her sister is stunning and can attract men like flies to a honeypot. Meanwhile you're the plain older sister who now has no hope with the man you'd set your sights on.
The story cleverly balances this conundrum together with exploring the reasons why such an attractive woman might turn serial killer in the first place.
In a country where women are treated like objects is she just balancing the books? And where do you draw the line between exposing the truth or protecting your family?
A fascinating read and a worthy way to pass a couple of hours.
