The book is very short and can be read in perhaps a day. I found the story not believable and the characters weak. The chapters are less than two pages long so it is a book you can put down easily. From the synopsis I was expecting a bit more dark humour in the story. The story does not paint the Lagos police very favourable and gave me an impression of incompetence in the investigations. I will admit the ending did surprise me but left me frustrated. It would of helped me if there was a glossary of some of the African words used in the book, this did detract me somewhat to understand. The writing was mediocre and did not flow very easily. The book cover was good and it would stand out on a bookshelf.
