I had heard great things about this book so snapped it up when I spotted it in my local library! A short and quick read - this is more of a novella than a novel.
We learn about Korede, a nurse who seems to lead a normal, ordinary life...until we find out her sister has a thing for killing her boyfriends and Korede helps to clean up her mess!
Full of satire and dark humour, this book treats the issue of serial killers in a completely different way from anything I have read before! Braithwaite’s choice of words at times leaves you laughing to yourself but it also shows the true bond of family and what big sisters will do for their little sisters.
I zoomed through this book and look forward to seeing what Braithwaite offers us in the future as I really enjoyed her style of writing. A breath of fresh air to read something new and different!
