This book was unlike any other I have read. The whole concept of the book was different to me, with the main character defending and helping her sister cover up murders of boyfriends. I struggled to become involved with the characters fully apart from Korede. The complexity of their relationship was interesting to see and I appreciated the small glimpses into their history with their father.

I appreciated the fact that it was no a usual mainstream book that I normally read. The fact it was set in Lagos was different for me and interesting to read about the culture shift from the western world.

I was slightly unhappy with the ending as it didn’t end the way I wanted but I’m just glad Korede is okay in the end. All the different characters involved were important to the story and were effective in how the story was told.

This is a book I would recommend to others!
