This was a pacy read thanks to the short, sharp chapters and the compelling voice.
The opening is, excuse the pun, killer. Korede, a hospital nurse, is helping her sister Ayoola clean up after Ayoola has murdered her boyfriend. Ayoola claims self-defence but this is not the first time - it's the third. Korede is now an expert on disposing of evidence. As long as she can keep her sister off social media, she's confident they won't get caught. Besides, nobody would believe that beautiful Ayoola could be a murderer. Korede accepts that the rules are different for her sister, until she targets the handsome doctor at the hospital, the guy who Korede has her own eye on.
Completely original, I loved this novel. It was fun but also covered some interesting topics. I'm glad to see this book is getting so much promotion - it deserves it.
