I was not certain what to expect from the title of this novel, but I was pleasantly surprised. My Sister, the Serial Killer is about Ayoola 's sister, Korede. Korede is an introverted nurse who has a crush on Tade, a gorgeous doctor. Her beautiful girlfriend, the serial killer, is Ayoola. Actually, the book isn't about Ayoola though. It focuses on Korede and her state of mind and her emotions as she cleans up in what Ayoola believes to be self-defense after her sister recklessly murders her associates.
This is a very well-written, fast-paced book that perfectly suits me. Too much was going on and I had to finish it, so I had to read it in one sitting! How well the author has designed the characters in this storey is the best thing about this novel. We explore the relationship between the two sisters throughout the storey , especially when Ayoola starts to date Tade, who is Korede's crush! We know more about the history of Korede and why she feels so protective and loyal to Ayoola and we see the bond with Ayoola.
