I'm not the demographic this book is aimed at which is probably why I couldn't identify with any of the characters or their concerns and didn't get many of the cultural references. The slangy style of the writing doesn't work for me. I think I would find it annoying after a short while. However, I suspect readers of YA will lap it up.
