This is the 3rd book I’ve read of Joya’s and it is by far my favourite.

What a sad story for Nikki. How her relationship with her mother was portrayed. It made me so sad that she felt the way she did. And how unfeeling the family were in general.

I really loved how her and Mals relationship blossomed. After so long being just friends it was lovely how it progressed.

It was very clear throughout the book how Nikki thought no one cared and Jo loved her. That was why she was running away all the time.

I loved how it was set up. With the short chapters. And the emails and texts being highlighted.

Throughly enjoyed the story. Relatable and honest characters with lots of funny and endearing moments.

Would definitely recommend her books and will be keeping all 3 of mine for when my girls get older as I think they show vital lessons in love and growing up. Excellent.
