I really enjoyed this book. The cover looks really cool and I was interested straight away after reading the first look. I love stories about mother-daughter and sister relationships. The characters all slowly reveal more about themselves throughout the story. I like how between each chapter you get a little note to self of what Nikki is thinking. I think as someone who's probably a bit older than the target audience for this book I probably started sympathizing with the Mum a bit sooner and felt really invested in her repairing her relationship with Nikki. I am definitely going to get the other titles by the same author as I found this such a beautiful book. The ending was perfect as well. I hope there is going to be a sequel one day as I would love to know what's next for Nikki and Mal. Overall brilliant book, some really great characters and a great summer read.
