The cover is quite striking and draws your attention. Although this is not a book I would normally buy/read, as it is not aimed at my age group, I found it interesting and very well written.
The story is about two main teenage characters, Nikki and Mal. Nikki has a very unhappy home life and is determined to run away from the situation. She is avoiding school very close to graduating as she is so unhappy. She has a dream to pursue.
Mal is her go to person when angry or in difficulties. He is from a wealthy family but with a background she initially knows nothing about even though she has known him for years.
