I love me a YA book!
This was my first book by this author and it had the friends to lovers trope so right off the bat I knew i was going to love reading this. The fmc Nikki was such a unique character that you can help but connect to and root for. I loved Mal as an mmc and these two together were so cute, they both deserve their happy ending.
A very unique plot that I haven’t read before, I like the whole premise of Mal trying to get the fmc to stay and spending a week trying to convince her. There was a lot of depth to these characters and I especially enjoyed seeing the family aspect within this book, we have the strained relationship between Nikki and her mom and Mals supportive family dynamic too.
Lots of drama, romance and emotions. The author really has me hooked with the relationship between the characters and also the amazing plot. I can’t wait to read more by this author!
