This is the second book that I have had the pleasure to read by this author and I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I loved all of the relationships that are explored in a mature, clever and delicate way. There were parts of the book that were not too pleasant to read especially the relationship with Nikki and her mother. I loved the layout of the novel, it kept up the pace of the read and made me want to read on and on.

The discoveries throughout this novel were so enjoyable to read. From self love, first loves and unconditional love it gave me as a reader the warm cosy feeling that all good books of this genre should. Some novels that I have read have too many minor characters that complicate the plot, confuse the narratives and take away from the story. This is the COMPLETE OPPOSITE! The amount of characters allows you to connect with each and every one of them on different levels and definitely from different reasons. I found that even when I finished the last line of the final page is still wanted to know more. What happens next? I hope we found out one day! I would love to see these characters again a few years down the line.
