i found this book a very speedy read, i enjoyed the writing style and the story, i am however not the target audience for the book..
It begins with an agst filled Nikki, she struggles with the realtionship with her mother and is on the verge of leaving Texas to move to California with hopes of starting a career in music. her best pal, who just happens to be her crush Malachai persuades her to stay with him for spring break so he can hopfully make her fall in love with texas again.
There are dramas, hard truths and soul searching when Nikki's younger sister goes missing.
