I liked this book more than I did Excuse Me While I Ugly Cry and that was a relief. I've really been wanting to love Joya Goffneys work. I'll have to go back and read her second novel now.
This book was both funny and incredibly emotional in places. The well written characters made the emotional side of the story stand out so much more, and I didn't want to put the book down.
More people should be talking about Joya Goffney and you should all buy this book as soon as you possibly can. You won't regret it.
I have to note though that I'm still not the biggest fan of this cover. I prefer the American covers of her books and wouldn't be likely to pick this one up just on the cover. Fortunately, I've only been hearing good things so that shouldn't be a problem but yeah.
Anyway, go and buy this book when it comes out in July! Or you can preorder it now and get it on release.
