I have read the first book by this author and thoroughly enjoyed it, despite not being in the target audience group. The front cover of this book suited the theme of the previous books by the author, and the colours definitely grabs the reader's attention.
The general synopsis of the book is good and quite original; it touches on some sensitive topics, which I feel are covered well. However, I did find the overall storyline somewhat rushed in places, and particularly in the beginning, a bit hard to follow? The main characters (Nikki and Mal) are described well, and I liked reading about how the chemistry between them grows. The ending could have been stronger I feel, but of course, everyone likes a happy ending (spoiler!).
Overall, I think that this book would suit the younger reader and would recommend to those who have read previous books by the author, or anyone who enjoys a typical rom-com style read.
