Great eye-catching cover for this thriller, Night by Night, the latest from the pen of Jack Jordan.

The bone aching weariness of insomnia comes across so well, at the start of this book. The inability of Rose to see through the fog of exhaustion is palpable, as is, quite frankly, the blindness of those around her to her desperate struggle to cope.

Sadly, Rose's struggle leads to tragic consequences, when her tiredness overcomes her while driving. Her car plunges off a bridge into a river and in her frantic efforts to escape from a watery grave, she can only manage to save one of her twin daughters.

This tragedy will change Rose's life for ever and, alone and isolated, she must find something to cling to. A journal, a disappearance, and a string of murders might just be the things to save her...or damn her for ever.....
