Another great book from Jack Jordan. Night by Night promises to be a gripping read. The First Look introduces the reader to Rose, an insomniac wife and mother of twin girls. Anyone who has, or had, insomnia will immediately identify with Rose, the frustation at lying in bed hour after hour desperately, but futilely, hoping that sheep will come. This has been Rose's life since the birth of the twins. Anyone not familiar with insomnia will quickly realise the devastating effects of sleep deprivation, short-temper and impaired judgement. Rose has an accident while driving with the twins in the car with horrific consequences. The foreword informs the reader that more is to come when Rose finds a diary and becomes involved in unsolved murders and a man who appears to think he might be the next victim. Great start, can't wait to read the rest of this book.
