I read the whole extract as it was so interesting. The author was probably setting the backstory, nonetheless I wanted to read more. I found that the extract was nothing like the blurb, I’m guessing we’ll have to wait more.The chapters flowed really well and the writing was descriptive.
Although I understood the effects of insomnia on Rose, I felt angry because her daughters were suffering so much because of it. This extract was very emotional, I found myself nearly crying towards the end. However, I do hope that everything calms down a bit because if not I think this novel is simply too emotional for me.
The character seems to be developed very well; Rose isn’t bland and boring. The strongest point was definitely the characters.
