I have read previous books by this author and loved them, but i’m Struggling to connect to this one, the first chapters focus on the main protagonist’s insomnia and the difficulties this leads to when raising two twins. There is some mystery surrounding her family, but the detail and the focus on sleep in the first chapters made this initial first impression a bit slow going for me.
