I enjoyed reading this book. It was gripping and I got through it quickly. It is a bit different from other murder mysteries and also has a strong theme about homophobia which was interesting. I liked the main character Rose and really wanted her to get a chance to escape from her past. I would have liked to find out more about the husband, Christian and whether he did completely blame Rose for the accident or if he was carrying his own guilt. The murder mystery itself was good, without being overly gory, but I was able to guess who the killer was quite early on, there was a twist that I didnt see coming though. After reading this I would like to read other books by the same author. Overall a good read.
