This book had me hooked all the way through. I would say that anyone who has been in a controlling relationship of any sort may find this a little triggering, but its fantastically written. I found myself so frustrated with the police & wanted to swing for them at times. Rose the main character I just felt for her so much.
She suffers bad insomnia since birth of her twins. One night she falls asleep at wheel & accidentally crashes through a bridge barrier resulting in death of one of the twins, in her eyes the wrong twin!!
Jump forward in time & Rose finds a journal belonging to someone called Finn...as she digs deeper & tries to turn to the police for help, they portray her as the child killer, neurotic & crazy!
Her husband is with her out of sense of duty, but doesn't support her at all...theres twists & turns, highs & lows. Proper good psychological thriller. I couldnt put it down. Cleverly written with gripping ending I didnt really see coming! 5* & cant wait to read more books by Jack Jordan!
