This book was right up my street. I enjoyed every page and raced through reading it. The character of Rose Shaw has a great backstory which the author describes well. The relationship with her husband and daughter is also well described and developed. The use of the journal to follow the story of Finn Matthews was a great idea and one which kept me wanting to know more. The visit to Adam in the Lakes was also a good point in the story and it showed the pain that these men were going through.
I’ve never read a book by Jack Jordan before but will definitely be reading another. I think this seems to be an author who goes from strength to strength. Definitely one to watch out for. A great read!
