I found this intriguing and wanted to know more
Vicky is travelling, by train, from France to Marrakech to meet her grandmother who she has only recently found out is still alive. She has recently finished an art course and wants to meet Yves St Laurent who is her inspiration.
She is met at the station by Ahmed and travels with him and her suitcase on the back of a motorbike to the hillside fort which is where her grandmother (Clemence) lives.
There's plenty of mystery in the opening few pages. Who is the elderly lady who is kept in a locked room. Clemence seems to have a lot of secrets. I have not read either of the previous 2 books in the series, maybe that would be a good place to start.
