I'll start by saying that this isn't my genre at all, so ignore me of you love it.
I found the start of this book to be very cheaply inspired, with a vaguely interesting plot peppered with tacky descriptions and boring adjectives. The writing was basic at best, not great in my opinion. I have a feeling this will do great as an uplifting summer read, so if that's your jam, go for it.
