I have been to Morocco many years ago and this book describes the landscape, sights and smells beautifully. It’s very evocative and you feel like you’re there.
Vicky has gone to Morocco to meet her grandmother who she’s only just found out exists. She doesn’t get the warm welcome she expects and feels her grandmother is hiding something.
The cover of the book is pretty and fits well with the story.
This book seems to be part of a series but I haven’t read any of the other books in the series.
Although this isn’t my usual genre, I would probably read this for the fantastic description and the sense of mystery in the story.
