I really enjoyed reading this book. This is the 3rd book in the series but can be read as a standalone. It was very well written and I didn't feel as if I was missing out on any key information.

The book follows the main protagonist Vicky Baudin who travels to Morocco to meet her grandmother Clemence for the first time. As a budding fashion designer Vicky is also hoping to meet Yves Saint Laurent. However, one night things go wrong and Vicky's trip to Marrakesh takes a turn. The book is full of tension, fast paced, and family secrets are forced out into the open.

The book highlights the culture of Marrakesh and the tensions in the 1960s when Morocco was attempting to gain independence

Beautiful front cover. However, I don't think the title 'Night Train to Marrakech' really matches the story line. Not much of a night train, more about the twists and turns which occur whist Vicky is in Morocco. There is hardly any mention of this, only right at the beginning the Vicky enters Morocco.
