I must say I really enjoyed this book. Easy to read with not too many characters that you could follow. The storyline, which in my opinion was gripping and thrilling.
It starts with Vicky Baudin who travels to Marrakech to try and find her grandmother, Clemence who she has never met and knows very little about.
Vicky soon discovers there are many secrets in Clemence's past going back a few generations and as you read through the book, little by little Vicky starts to learn the truth of her grandmother.
Vicky invited her cousin Bea to join her in Marrakech and it's then that things start to happen and both girls are in danger.
I would certainly recommend this book with Dinah Jefferies giving you a flavour of the country and markets of Marrakech. It's atmospheric and a book you could lose yourself in.
All in all a book I didn't want to put down.
