I deliberately put off reading this book, as I wanted to hold off until I could take it away for my holiday read - and I am so glad I did! This was the perfect escapism whilst on holiday - a taste of exotic locales and an adventure viewed through Vicky's eyes as she explores her grandmother Clemence's past and secrets are revealed.
Chapter's are arranged so that we experience the events from Vicky's viewpoint but also from Clemence's viewpoint by way of a flashback.
This is a book I thoroughly enjoyed and glad that I waited to savour it. A fantastic holiday read!
