This is the third and last book of the series, but I have not read the other two books and found this was enjoyable on its own. I would like to read the other two books in the series now after reading this one.

The story is full of family politics, true love and deep dark secrets that cover generations. This leads Vicky into difficult situations and you resd how she gets out of them. The story is full of courage and strength of women. The author gives a beautifully descriptive narrative that makes you picture and feel you are there.
I really enjoyed the book and would recommend it to anyone that enjoys a good story with lots of suspense with some historical fiction.
