I thought this was a wonderful read. Even though I haven’t read the previous two books it didn’t matter at all . I loved the descriptions of Marrakech they were so vivid and real . The story follows Vicky who comes to Morocco to meet her grandmother that she has never seen before. What follows is a series of events that puts lives in danger. Everyone rallies round to help Vicky’s grandmother and secrets that have been buried for years come to the surface. The tension in the book is just right and the story comes to a satisfactory conclusion. There are serious themes discussed throughout. On a lighter note Yves st Laurent makes an appearance which is a nice break from the tension. Vicky is a fashion designer and he is her idol . I will definitely read the previous two in the series because I want to find out the background for this story. This is the first time I have read this author and I need to read more .
