Kiara is trying to find a job to afford the rent increase on the flat, and trying to persuade her older brother to find a job, but he’s more interested in recording rap music. Her dad has died and her mother is in rehab.
The start of this book is a little all over the place, but I think once you get into it and get to know the characters it would be a good read.
I would like to read more of the book and see how the story unfolds. I like Kiara’s character and she seems very resilient.
The neon cover is eye catching, but I’m not really a fan of pink so I don’t know if I would pick it up based on the cover.
