I always like books based on true stories, but sometimes they can be so heartbreaking you can hardly believe they're true. This sounds like a book which will fit into that category. Sounds compelling and it's not a story that I remember being in the news, so I would be coming into this blind. Worries me about the amount of police corruption around though!
