Even from the striking first sentence, there is something incredibly captivating about the way this author writes. She manages to capture both the darkness and the hope of life in equal measure, and in this short first look she has already built a story I don't want to put down. The cover brilliantly reflects the boldness of the writing and draws me in further. I cannot wait to give this a read.
