This is hard to read in that the characters are really struggling and there isn't much to give hope so far. Attending local funeral services to get food, and finding it had to get employment 17 year old Kiara seems very alone. He brother is trying to make it as a rappe like his uncle and refuses to give up his dream to help his sister make rent payments and afford food. I really want to keep reading in the hope that life improves and Kiara can escape the cycle of poverty her and he community seem to be suffering.
