Sadly I didn't enjoy the sneak peek I read of this book.
The book is well written but I just didn't like the subject matter.
The story seems to be about Kiara, a young black girl, and her brother. Her brother wants to be a successful Rap artist so the story is set against a background of American gangster life, where crime and violence are normal everyday life.
I'm sure there are other readers who will enjoy this book but it's not the type of book I would read.
