I was shocked when I realised Leila’s age, 19 years old! She began writing this book at the age of 17. This book is very beautifully written, although at times the imagery and beauty of the writing can be a little hard going to get through. You have to give this book your full attention to really breathe in the beauty.

This is very important story about how Kiera was abused by police officers, and it can be very trigerring for some, but if you can get through it, this story tells the truth about what the world can be like out there.
