Was a fantastic read and well written! Especially as author starting writing just at the age of 17. Was an emotional read and has you wanting to shout out at the main character. With how well written it was I was slightly disappointed with the end as seemed rushed/leaving me with many questions.Telling the story of the disfunctional life of Kiara Johnson, 17 years old, mother in prison, father dead and brother who is a big waste of space, only interested in making it big in the world of music.
Kiara is really struggling to keep her head above water, with bills mounting up and her landlord on her back she is really feeling the pressure.
After a drunken night out where she hocks up with someone and they pay her at the end thinking sp was doing it for money it gives kiara a thought and pushes her i to the darks world of prostitution.
This story really makes you see how your life can sprial so quickly into that kind of lifestyle and is only one bad decision away from all of us.
