Fast paced, urgent, it had me wanting to read more
The intial chapter that introduce this airport scene is beautifully done. A pregnant woman is waiting anxiously for her husband against a backdrop of slogans and protests. The short sentences, the escalation of tension picks up pace when the woman ends up in a hospital. Syria, refugee and status are the words that add to the tension and we quickly come to know that Sama and Hadi, the pregnant woman and the Syrian refugee have some tough times ahead of them.
A situation that takes roots from newsreports published sometime ago, I was instantly curious to read the fictional repercussions of this announcement.
