After reading the extract I really can’t make up my mind about this . The style of writing is very journalistic and certainly keeps you turning the pages. However, when reading the first chapter narrated by Sama it felt just a bit too melodramatic. Hadi’s narrative felt a bit more real to me . It definitely tugs at the heart strings but I’m not sure about reading a whole novel written in this style .
