This novel was good. This wasn't in my normal genre of fiction but I really enjoyed it. It was really well written and flowed well . This book told the story with alternate chapters of how the two main characters cope with a forced separation. Sometimes novels that do this don't flow well and get a little confusing, this novel doesn't. The description of the time in the baby intensive care unit is really good and really makes you feel for the new mother. Another description / part of the story that really makes you feel like you are there is the scenes outside the foreign embassy . You can really feel the despair of all the people waiting to get in to the embassy especially the main character. I really enjoyed this book and I think it made it all the more better as this sort of thing could really happen ! I would definitely recommend this novel and will look out for other book,s from this author
