A story of loss, separation and enduring love. Based on very possible events following the ban on travel by certain individuals into the USA in 2016, this book follows a couple separated by these unfortunate circumstances during a pivotal point in their lives.
By page 2 I was hooked. This book is descriptive, drawing you into the character’s stories and emotions from the start. Sliding seamlessly between past and present for the two key characters a colourful tapestry is created helping the reader to empathise and relate to the unique responses and reactions to these individuals.
I don’t want to give any spoilers but I would highly recommend reading this book. Be prepared for a rollercoaster ride of emotions and to be fully bought into the lives of the characters.
