At it's heart this is a love story, but also one of loss, the despair of separation, and our place in the world and community.
This is lyrical and beautiful, raw and emotional. It certainly packs a punch and is a book that stays with you long after closing the book.....there is lots to think about in the message of this novel.
This is powerful and won't be for everyone, covering a distressing subject matter, but I found it incredibly moving.
Plus I must give a shout out for the beautiful design of this cover - it is simply stunning and totally in keeping with the novel.....kudos to whoever designed that cover - as with the contents on its pages, that is beautiful artwork and fits the book perfectly - it sums up the story and it's sense of hope perfectly.....Love that too.
