A potential page-turner but too short a glimpse!
Sam Blake has fit a lot of story into just the 12 pages we've been granted for a first impression.
It's short but gripping and does a wonderful job of setting the scene and introducing the key people in what reads like a true crime thriller already.
I couldn't believe when I tried to turn to the next page and I'd already reached the end of the first impression!
There's something about this genre and these settings that draws me in and in just a few pages left me wanting more.
It's hard with just a snapshot to comment further on the characters or the plot potential, but it has certainly managed to grab my interest.
