This sounds like yet another detective/police procedural with the inevitable 'shocking twist'.
Books like this are everywhere and they all follow a set pattern, and while I do enjoy this sort of book for a quick, easy 'don't want to think too much' read, they have to be really special to make me rave about them. This sounds okay but I don't see that it will set my world on fire and have anything that sets it apart from the thousands of others out there.
