I haven't read any of Sam Blake's work before but I really enjoyed the start of this book. The prologue tempts you in and then as the story starts in the Irish Police Station, the characters are likeable and the book is very easy to read. You feel the disappointment & frustration of Cathy as it jumps from the page.
