I tried to read this one but could just not get into it at all. I found the style of writing hard for me to follow.
I have since borrowed it to a friend who has enjoyed it though so all is not lost.
I really liked the idea of the story and had been looking forward to it so am disappointed that I just couldn’t get into it at all.
I did however love the mystery of the front cover.
I am thinking of giving it another go after I have finished the few I have to go as like I said, the concept is great, I just couldn’t follow the characters and found that I was having to flick back to see who people were and kept getting myself very confused.
I would give the author another chance of course though as the idea is great and it is my fault completely that I just couldnt get into it.
I have just read another review that says this book was part of a series of books which could be why I found it confusing! I shall have to read the other 2 and then try again with this one and I’m sure I will get into it more.
